Altium Packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor Trainee to join our Manufacturing Leadership program in a fast-paced plant environment. The role blends hands-on production exposure with analytics, project work, and business support to prepare for future operations leadership.

Through rotations across production, quality, maintenance and safety, you will observe processes, analyze data, and develop recommendations that improve efficiency, quality, safety and cost.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Effective communication skills, including presenting insights to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Beginner level use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured rotational program across production, quality, maintenance, and safety functions.
• Observe production processes and workflows to assess efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards.
• Analyze KPIs, production reports, and SPC data to identify trends and root causes.
• Lead assigned projects and process improvement initiatives with measurable results.
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Support safety observations, audits, and compliance initiatives.
