Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sherman, TX offers an Operations Trainee role as part of the Production Management Development Program (PMDP). You will rotate through production, quality, maintenance, and safety, gaining hands-on experience on the shop floor while applying data-driven analysis.

Through rotations and formal training, you will learn to analyze KPIs, propose efficiency improvements, and support leadership with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations
• Effective communication skills, including presenting insights to leadership

Responsibilities

• Complete a structured rotational program across production, quality, maintenance, and safety functions
• Analyze KPIs, production reports, and SPC data; identify trends and opportunities
• Lead assigned projects and process improvements with measurable results
• Provide observations and recommendations to plant leadership based on findings
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and actions
• Support safety observations, audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives
