Job summary

Altium Packaging in Wichita is seeking a Production Supervisor Trainee to join a structured rotational program across production, quality, maintenance, and safety. You will observe processes, collect data, and analyze performance to drive improvements.

The role develops skills in KPI analysis, project leadership, and continuous improvement, with emphasis on safety, cost, and quality in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Effective communication and ability to present insights to leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Beginner level use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured rotational program across production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Observe processes, collect and analyze data, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze KPIs and SPC data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead projects aligned with plant priorities and track progress to deliver measurable results.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance and apply problem-solving methods.
