Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, seeks a Lead Operations / Quality Technician (LOQT) in Minooka, IL. You will lead facility operations, manage quality processes, and ensure safe, reliable production with safety compliance.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance work, coordinating with the Plant Manager and technicians, documenting in CMMS, and supporting investigations and continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory alignment and customer delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree desirable or technical training (or equivalent experience) required.
• 5+ years of related operations experience.
• Experience within Quality Assurance in a processing environment.
• Working knowledge of Food Safety Programs.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs and process diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and safety leadership for facility operations.
• Ensure maintenance work orders are accurate and timely.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager and technicians for coverage and scheduling.
• Support Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with CMMS data entry and documentation.
