Qualifications

• One year of hands-on manufacturing or processing experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend MSDS sheets.
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and safety minded.
• Experience operating a forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Sort cylinders by size and service; assist with manifolds and vacuum pumps for internal cylinder preparation.
• Scrape and paint cylinders; change valves and install new valves in high pressure cylinders.
• Perform pre-fill inspections of cylinders and valves and support safe filling.
• Connect cylinders to gas manifolds for processing; conduct leak checks and purge cylinders.
• Maintain valve and cylinder inventory.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and assist with forklift inspections and operation.
