Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics U.S. LP in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Assistant Plant Manager to lead operations, maintenance, and quality programs for the site.

You will oversee CUP systems, gas distribution, and equipment performance while engaging with customers and cross-functional teams. The role demands strong leadership, extensive experience in high-stakes environments, and a proven track record in process improvement and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of operational leadership with high-stakes customers/industries such as electronics, pharmaceutical, or nuclear facilities.
• Experience managing customer relationships and technical outage/maintenance/commissioning communications.
• Hands-on familiarity with Central Utility Plant (CUP) operations, gas distribution, analytical equipment (GC, GCMS, moisture, and oxygen analyzers).
• Strong verbal and written technical communication; interface with enterprise customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer interfacing and stakeholder engagement; act as backup operations liaison.
• Own quality program leadership; ensure adherence to Quality Management System standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee CUP maintenance planning and communication; schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Manage day-to-day plant operations, staffing, and resource allocation to meet production demands.
• Lead team development, performance reviews, and training across operations, engineering, and laboratory staff.
