Job summary

Summit Midstream Partners, Lp is seeking a Plant Operator to manage the operation, maintenance, and record keeping of gathering system compressor stations or process plants. Daily duties include operation, documentation, and housekeeping of equipment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor and adjust equipment for optimum throughput, perform minor maintenance, and coordinate with craft personnel to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in an energy/gas facility environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and respond to calls.

Responsibilities

• Operate gathering system compressor stations or process plants.
• Maintain daily logs, reports and documentation.
• Monitor equipment and adjust for optimal availability and throughput.
• Perform routine maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydrators and related equipment.
• Coordinate with craft personnel and contractors.
• Identify and report abnormal operating conditions and safety issues.
