Summit Midstream Partners is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee operation, maintenance, and recording for gathering-system compressor stations and process plants. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and adherence to procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year in energy or related technical training, and familiarity with SCADA systems. On-site work with potential callouts and weekend shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of stable work history in the energy industry and/or technical training in mechanical and/or electrical field.
• Knowledge of SCADA and control systems (DeltaV/Wonderware/Cygnet/Kimray).
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Strong commitment to personal and job safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and record-keep gathering system compressor stations or process plants.
• Complete and maintain required reports and logs.
• Monitor and adjust equipment for optimum availability and throughput.
• Perform minor maintenance on engines and associated equipment.
• Coordinate with craft personnel to resolve issues and ensure safety.
