How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Working as a lead supervisor to provide direct supervision and hands-on support to our 2nd shift operation team.

Position Details:

• Title: Production Associate - 2nd Shift Lead Plant Operator
• Location: Hingham, MA
• Shift: 2nd Shift - 1pm to 9:30pm (Some overtime required)
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with some Saturdays

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and correct safety hazards and quality deficiencies.
2. Lead and train production associates to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Communicate operational status to the Plant team continually.
4. Supervise safe start-up and shutdown of 2nd shift loaders and the production team.
5. Partner with other Supervisors for smooth daily operations.
6. Promote safety and compliance, correcting unsafe acts or conditions promptly.
7. Implement improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and work conditions to increase efficiency.
8. Assist in resolving work problems and train new and cross-trained employees.
9. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
10. Load and unload cylinders, ensuring proper handling and recording.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supervising more than 5 production personnel in an industrial setting.
• Self-starter with effective team supervision skills.
• Decisive and organized, with good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.
