How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Working as a lead supervisor to provide direct supervision and hands-on support with our 2nd shift operation team.

Position Details:

• Title: Production Associate - 2nd Shift Lead Plant Operator
• Location: Hingham, MA
• Shift: 2nd (1pm - 9:30pm), some overtime required
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays

Responsibilities:

• Identify and correct safety hazards and quality issues.
• Lead and train production associates to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Communicate operational status continually to the Plant.
• Supervise safe start-up and shutdown of the 2nd shift loaders and team.
• Partner with other Supervisors for smooth operations.
• Promote safety and compliance culture, correcting unsafe acts or conditions promptly.
• Implement improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and working conditions to increase efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve work problems, assist workers as needed.
• Train new workers and cross-train employees for coverage during shortages.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Load and unload cylinders, record types and quantities, ensure safety and proper handling.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supervising more than 5 personnel in an industrial environment.
• Self-starter with effective team supervision skills.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, email).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and with attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for measurement and calculations.
