Job summary

Summit Midstream in the United States seeks a Plant Operator responsible for operating, maintaining, and recording operations of gathering system compressor stations or process plants. You will monitor and document performance, perform minor maintenance, and coordinate with craft personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to work in a physically demanding, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of stable work history in energy or technical training in mechanical/electrical field.
• Experience with SCADA and control systems (DeltaV, WonderWare, Cygnet, Kimray).
• Basic computer skills (Office).
• Commitment to personal and process safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willing to work call-outs, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain compressor stations and gathering assets.
• Complete required reports and logs daily.
• Monitor equipment to sustain availability, efficiency and throughput.
• Perform minor maintenance on engines, compressors, dehydration units and related gear.
• Coordinate condensate handling and truck scheduling.
• Work with craft staff to resolve equipment issues promptly.
• Report, troubleshoot and correct abnormal operating conditions.
• Coordinate activities of contract personnel as needed.
• Identify emergencies and follow safety protocols to protect people and property.
