Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH Company, has an opening for a Plant Operator in Franklin, TX. The role covers grinding, material handling, pollution control, and related processes with focus on safe, efficient operation.

You will monitor Ash and Fly Ash levels, read diagrams, and collaborate with Leads and Managers to maintain production quality and uptime. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follows safety procedures and policies.
• Contributes to a positive team environment.
• Meets productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work habits to help create a zero-injury safety culture.
• Assist with plant operations, particularly Vertical Roller Mill and related equipment.
• Monitor and record daily levels of Bottom Ash and Fly Ash.
• Communicate maintenance/operational issues to leads and managers.
• Ensure compliance with production, quality, and maintenance processes.
• Conduct shift handover meetings.
• Operate utility and heavy equipment on site when required.
• Perform and assist with maintenance on process equipment and facilities.
• Maintain housekeeping to facility standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Provide peer coaching and troubleshoot mechanical/process issues.
