Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services is seeking a Boiler/CEP Operator to operate and maintain an industrial plant at Ft. Sam Houston, TX.

The role includes tending boilers, monitoring gauges, adjusting controls, and logging operations to ensure reliable utilities such as heat, steam, and electricity. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical training, plus a 3rd Class Power Plant Operator license and UST training.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with a Facility CMMS is highly desired.
• High school graduate or technical certificate preferred.
• Licensed as Power Plant Operator (3rd Class) and UST training expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers to produce steam for facility use.
• Observe gauges, adjust controls for safe, efficient plant operation.
• Log system operations; keep equipment in good working order.
• Perform routine repairs on rotating machinery and water systems.
• Follow safety procedures and pass background and clearance checks.
