Job summary

J&J Worldwide Services seeks an experienced plant operator to run and maintain an energy center providing heat, air conditioning, steam and electricity. You will monitor boiler operation, adjust controls, log system data, and perform water treatment analyses to keep equipment in top condition.

The role requires strong communication, CMMS familiarity, and relevant licenses or certifications. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and safety compliance in a fast-paced industrial

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
• Experience with CMMS software highly desired.
• Licenses: ASHRAE? (actually ASPE Power Engineers 3rd Class Operator License).
• TCPA Class A and Class B UST Training Certifications obtainable within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain an operational engineering plant with boilers, heat, AC, steam and electricity.
• Monitor gauges and meters; adjust controls for safe, efficient utility provision.
• Log system operation; maintain equipment including boilers, chillers, and rotating machinery.
• Perform water treatment analyses and chemical treatments; ensure tower and boiler water quality.
• Support maintenance team and maintain plant cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Education

High School Graduate, technical or trade school certificate in related field

ASME Power Engineers 3rd Class Operator License

TCPA Class A and Class B UST Training Certification
