Job summary

FCC Environmental Services in the United States is seeking a Plant Operator to monitor and operate plant equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous operations. You will perform rounds, record data, and support the Ash Handling System while maintaining boiler and water treatment processes.

This role requires following safety procedures, handling hazardous waste tasks, rotating shifts, and collaborating with the Plant Operator team to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge to operate power plant auxiliary equipment and systems.
• Licenses as required by agencies.

Responsibilities

• Makes rounds and records operational data on log sheets.
• Maintains safe operation of Ash Handling System and other equipment.
• Performs water testing and treatment; monitors boilers and water systems.
• Operates auxiliary plant equipment and lime slakers; assists daily operations.
• Counts, weighs, and records materials moved; handles unloading and transport.
• Following safety rules, reports hazards, works rotating shifts.
