Airgas in Durham, NC is hiring a Plant Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of our industrial gas filling facility. You will handle equipment, perform inspections, and ensure quality during cylinder filling.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, and preferred experience in plant operations or industrial maintenance. Forklift experience and strict safety adherence are a plus; standard shift is Monday–Friday with early hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preference for experience in plant operations or industrial maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Care for and maintain equipment within the production facility, including compressors, pumps, and filling stations.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good condition and aligned.
• Safely manage the flow and transport of cylinders, including filling and quality checks.
• Operate forklift to move materials and products safely within the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities.
