Saint-Gobain Group is seeking a production associate responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing finished products and preparing customer shipments in compliance with quality standards and DOT regulations.
The role supports regulatory testing, inventory counts, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and waste minimization. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying temperatures.
Job Summary: Responsible for safely and efficiently producing finished products and preparing customer shipments in accordance with quality standards, production requirements, and DOT regulations. This position supports regulatory testing, inventory counts and reconciliations, daily housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
Produces finished product to fill Customer demands in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
Participates in all regulatory testing
Participates in scheduled team meetings to recommend any necessary changes in procedures that will improve quality, improve production output, reduce costs, improve health and safety, and decrease waste generation
Participates in daily plant housekeeping within all production and warehousing areas
Assists in all monthly inventory counts and reconciliations.
All shipments are prepared to order, properly loaded and offered in accordance with DOT regulations.
Qualifications Summary:
High school diploma or accredited GED and a minimum of one year of relevant experience required; two or more years of manufacturing or chemical industry experience preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong reading, math, and technical skills; the ability to learn and qualify on production processes and equipment; and clear verbal and written communication skills in English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work outdoors in varying ambient temperatures, and demonstrate a strong commitment to EHS, quality, and customer service.
