Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks a Supervisor in Oak Creek, Wisconsin to oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of power plant equipment, planning, organizing and directing activities to ensure productivity, safety and reliability. The position requires flexibility for a rotating shift schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

You will manage employees, coordinate with union stewards, monitor performance, train staff, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5–10 years of experience in power plant operations and/or supervision.
• Knowledge of labor agreements preferred.
• Ability to communicate with and maintain relationships with employees, unions and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise plant operations and maintenance teams for safety and reliability.
• Plan and conduct safety and team meetings.
• Direct and coordinate safe operation of generating units during shifts.
• Monitor plant conditions and direct personnel to maintain safe operation.
• Coordinate with union stewards to resolve issues.
• Train staff and ensure productivity and quality of work.
