This position is for the graveyard shift and is an internal posting for OSU employees only.
Assists the Facilities Director with managerial duties to operate and maintain OSU-TULSA and other OSU facilities. Supervises Building Engineers, manages performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and oversees operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, motors, and auxiliaries to ensure proper building climate control and mechanical power supply. Coordinates with vendors for maintenance and repairs of HVAC, fire alarm, and boiler/chiller systems. Ensures a comfortable environment for staff, faculty, and students.
Potential exposure to hazardous materials, hot and cold environments. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, kneel, crawl, crouch, reach, stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions, with or without accommodations.

Qualifications: High School/GED, 9 years plant operations/maintenance, 3 years supervisory experience, City of Tulsa First Class Stationary Engineer Unlimited License. Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing; familiarity with codes and OSHA regulations; knowledge of boiler maintenance; basic plumbing; ability to interpret technical documents; maintain engineering logs; manage preventive maintenance; operate HVAC and chillers; read blueprints; prioritize tasks; communicate effectively with staff, faculty, and students; committed to high-quality service in a university setting.
