Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead one or more production departments in the United States. You will help set priorities and schedules, push for efficiency, and build cross-trained redundancy to meet safety and customer needs.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You will coach and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, and support career progression while maintaining safety standards and compliance across the

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supervisory experience in distribution and/or chemical industry.
• Review and approve plant invoices.
• Participate in customer and regulatory audits.
• Lead/participate in customer plant visits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Driven and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assume direct supervision of one or more departments.
• Assist in setting priorities and production schedules based on safety, customer needs, equipment failures, and other challenges.
• Drive efficiency improvements.
• Develop redundancy through cross-training within production departments; manage personnel and assign manpower.
• Coach, guide, and develop direct reports; hold reports accountable for performance and safety.
• Execute performance reviews.
• Discuss and support career progression.
