Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our Menomonee Falls facility, ensuring safe, compliant blending, packaging, storage, and distribution of chemical products while driving continuous improvement and employee engagement. The role oversees production scheduling, inventory, equipment reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has extensive manufacturing or chemical distribution experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of operations or plant management experience.
• Experience in chemical distribution, manufacturing, or logistics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and HAZMAT.
• Proven leadership, communication, and people development skills.
• Commitment to safety as a core value.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: champion safety culture and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Operational Excellence: oversee daily operations across locations, improve productivity and service.
• People and Performance Management: mentor site managers and teams; conduct performance reviews.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality: maintain audit readiness and certifications.
• Strategic and Financial Management: manage budgets and monitor KPIs.
