Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. in Reading, PA is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead production staff, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across the facility.

You will monitor KPIs, manage budgets, plan for capacity and staffing, and partner with other departments to meet cost and performance targets. A Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years in manufacturing or supervision are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing with exposure to varying conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work overtime and perform additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop employees while promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily production, staffing, scheduling, and operational performance.
• Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor KPIs including labor, productivity, throughput, capacity, yields, and costs.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels, accuracy, and controls.
• Develop and manage plant budgets and operational goals.
• Plan for future staffing, capacity, equipment, and organizational needs.
• Partner with other departments to achieve company objectives.
• Address employee, safety, quality, and operational issues promptly.
