Job summary

Cogent Analytics in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Plant Manager to oversee a heavy industrial mineral processing facility. You will drive production efficiency, manage site budgets, and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance while leading a multi-disciplinary team of technicians and operators.

You will coordinate labor resources with the Operations Manager and Customer Relations/Production Manager, supervise field service teams, and champion continuous improvement to meet client delivery requirements

Qualifications

5+ years of operations management experience in heavy industrial mineral processing allowing leadership of a multi-disciplinary team.
Technical degree in Mining, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; equivalent experience considered.
Regulatory knowledge of OSHA, environmental permitting and safety protocols.
Understanding of mineral processing systems; hands-on mechanical/electrical trade experience; able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

Direct daily production activities to meet output targets and delivery schedules.
Enforce OSHA and environmental compliance across the site.
Oversee maintenance programs for conveyors, kilns, packaging systems and transport equipment.
Recruit, train and manage production supervisors and technicians; foster accountability.
Develop and manage OpEx and CapEx budgets to reduce waste and improve costs.
Ensure mineral outputs meet client specifications and quality tolerances.
