Job summary

Harsco Environmental seeks a seasoned operations leader to oversee plant performance, service delivery, and profitability. You will supervise all plant personnel, coordinate training and safety objectives, and ensure alignment with customer needs and company goals.

Ideal candidates bring a strong manufacturing background, 10+ years in related roles, and proven P&L responsibility, along with leadership and communication skills to drive process improvements and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on materials management, production, or engineering.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory control, production control, engineering, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
• 3–5 years' experience managing staff.
• Experience with Profit and Loss responsibility.
• Knowledge of contract administration and safety/environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prompt and efficient service to customers and maintain profitability.
• Implement training and safety objectives.
• Establish and meet production and financial goals.
• Schedule plant personnel.
• Maintain dialogue with customers to determine needs and required services.
• Develop financial plans and a capital budget.
• Administer discipline under company rules and regulations.
• Oversee plant purchasing, maintenance, repairs and parts.
• Direct and supervise all plant personnel and operations.
