Job summary

Harsco Environmental is seeking a Supervisory position at our steel mill facilities. You will oversee hourly production workers, coordinate plant operations, and drive safety and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, data documentation, and communication with site leadership. Applicants should have 3–5 years of supervisory experience and strong Excel and data skills. Competitive benefits offered and a route to growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Supervises & coordinates hourly production workers within a steel mill setting.
• Must be able to read, interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data capture and simple equations.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation oversight is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate plant operations to ensure function within policies and procedures.
• Implement and coordinate safety objectives for a safe work environment.
• Communicate job tasks and equipment to workforce; ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Oversee training and operation of equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, and graders.
• Schedule employees and equipment to meet customer and production needs.
• Lead daily safety talks at shift start.
• Maintain shift records and documentation for payroll and maintenance.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Communicate issues with Site Manager and support teams.
• Be a team player, available to stay until the job is completed.
