Job summary

ERMCO in Athens, GA, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee all plant operations across three shifts. You will develop strategies to boost productivity, ensure quality, and uphold safety while leading Area Managers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership experience, lean/continuous improvement expertise, and strong collaboration across departments to drive performance and cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S.
• Strong communication and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily production activities to meet targets.
• Lead KPI-driven teams and monitor performance.
• Manage hiring, performance, workforce planning, and development.
• Collaborate with Training, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Oversee budget and capital projects; support ISO 9001/14001.
• Promote safety-first culture and Lean initiatives.
