WM (Waste Management) is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to provide overall leadership for HCS plant operations across locations, ensuring safety, productivity and profitability. The role requires directing production planning, supervising staff, enforcing policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant/manufacturing, strong people-management skills, and a track record of cost control, regulatory compliance, and safety

Qualificações

• 7+ years of related experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience managing others.
• Bachelor's Degree in business or operations management (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Plans and schedules production requirements to support daily, weekly and monthly sales forecast to meet customer needs.
• Oversees and trains staff; makes recommendations for merit increases and performance appraisals.
• Monitors operations and staff and recommends changes to secure optimum utilization of resources.
• Maintains cost control and drives continuous improvement of productivity and worker safety.
• Ensures regulatory and safety compliance and operates in a productive and profitable manner.
• Oversees maintenance staff and guides maintenance activities to align with plant operations.
