Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Manager in the St. Joseph, MI area to lead the production activities of a premier, tech-driven automotive supplier with 50+ years of stability.

You will report to the General Manager and drive Lean initiatives, safety, cost control, and talent development on a multi-shift operation. The role requires leading a 100+ person team, managing both direct and indirect reports, and delivering on strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate considered.
• At least five years in a similar operations management role.
• Experience in metals environments (stamping, machining, fabrication) or automotive supplier experience.
• Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports.
• Experience overseeing 100+ people in multi-shift operations.
• Working knowledge of variable cost, labor planning, and cost of manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead production activity and direct daily operations to maximize productivity.
• Partner with GM on plant P&L and cost control initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and material control to meet customer demands.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Lead safety programs, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage the operations leadership team and training plans.
