Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group in Saint Joseph, MI seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Manager to lead production at a premier, tech-driven automotive supplier with 50+ years of stability and a 100% permanent workforce.

You will drive Lean, cost control, safety, and continuous improvement while building a strong operations team on a modern, technology-enabled shop floor near the manufacturing area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree will be considered.
• At least five years in a similar operations management role.
• Experience in metals environments (stamping, machining, fabrication) or automotive supplier background.
• Experience supervising direct and indirect reports; able to manage 100+ employees across multi-shift operations.
• Working knowledge of variable costs, labor planning and labor cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead production activity and oversee plant P&L and cost management.
• Direct daily production activities with 6–12 month planning; contribute to longer-term strategies.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and material control to meet customer demand.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and plant cleanliness across the operation.
• Lead safety programs, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, and Workers’ Comp processes.
• Develop operations leadership team; manage training matrices and onboarding; foster accountability and rapid problem-solving.
