Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager for an automotive manufacturing facility in Michigan. You will lead production teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery within budget and schedule.

Candidates must have experience in automated welding operations, at least 10 years in production leadership, and a BS in Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of IATF 16949, lean methods, and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years working in a production leadership role in the automotive manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
• Fluent in MS Office applications.
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings in verbal or presentation format.
• Quality and lean management experience.
• Experience in welding and automated assembly strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams and drive continuous improvement in key performance measures and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure staffing and training to execute production and operational plans.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and cost control for manufacturing processes.
• Monitor quality levels and on-time delivery to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Lead safety, CI programs and process standardization across operations.
• Set performance goals and review daily results with the team.
