Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an experienced plant operations leader to direct and coordinate all manufacturing, maintenance, and administrative functions at our Texas poultry processing facility. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, cost control, and regulatory compliance to deliver quality products.

The successful candidate will oversee production, staff development, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience in a poultry processing/protein conversion plant.
• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; related experience accepted in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates overall plant operations to meet objectives at lowest cost without compromising quality.
• Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintains plant equipment and facilities to comply with regulations and optimize operations.
• Prepares operating reports and recommends improvements for efficiency.
• Ensures customer service and timely delivery of quality products.
• Selects, trains, and motivates manufacturing staff.
• Ensures compliance with company policy and laws.
