Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.
• 10 years of power plant or similar experience.
• Three years of experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel.
• Gas turbine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the plant's Safety, Operations, NERC Compliance, Maintenance, Administrative, Training, Chemistry and Environmental QA/QC programs.
• Oversee planned and unplanned plant outages and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Implement training and qualification programs for plant personnel.
• Review plant policies and procedures to reflect current operating requirements.
• Direct sourcing, screening and hiring of new or replacement personnel.
• Ensure certification status of affected personnel is maintained current.
• Maintain morale and motivation of plant personnel.
• Oversee preparation of client and utility reports, budgets, and compliance reports.
