Job summary

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is seeking an Operations Manager for SENY to lead safe, reliable plant operations and asset management. You will supervise teams, manage budgets, and drive performance improvements across one or more generating facilities in New York State.

Responsibilities include optimizing capital projects, managing contracts, and ensuring regulatory and NYPA compliance. Travel up to 20% within NY state may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent; 5+ years of power plant operations experience; 3+ years as a First Line Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of one or more power plant facilities.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and capital expenditure proposals.
• Monitor plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with NYPA policies and environmental safety regulations.
