Job summary

Human Capital Ventures is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at its Anderson, South Carolina facility. You will oversee Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement, driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery while optimizing costs.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen programs, and partner with Engineering, Materials, and HR to sustain world-class operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Experience in blow-molding/injection-molding plastics or automotive manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen; experience managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations across Production, Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
• Optimize utilization of personnel, equipment, tooling, and capital resources to maximize performance.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, minimize downtime, and enhance quality.
• Lead capital projects and support procurement, installation, commissioning, and optimization of equipment and systems.
• Establish, monitor, and report on operational metrics; take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, ISO, IATF).
• Manage departmental budgets and control costs for labor, materials, maintenance, and capital.
• Collaborate with Materials, HR, Quality, and EHS; build external relationships with providers and vendors.
• Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
