Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a General Manager to lead our Anchorage facility, overseeing daily operations, safety, and performance. You will develop and execute plans to meet production, quality, and service goals while managing budgets and P&L responsibilities.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in food production or distribution, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Agriculture or 10+ years of operational leadership experience.
• Minimum 10 years plant leadership in food production, manufacturing, costing, and distribution.
• Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility leadership and general management for the operation.
• Manage P&L and budgets to meet financial goals.
• Develop processes to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, hire, and develop associates; conduct evaluations.
• Drive continuous improvement and SOP standardization across network.
• Lead Gemba walks and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor key metrics and drive customer satisfaction.
