Job summary

Sysco is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy food distribution facility in Alaska. The GM will oversee day-to-day operations, safety, quality and productivity while aligning with the company’s standards and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Agriculture; minimum 10 years of operational leadership.
• 10+ years plant leadership in food production, manufacturing, costing and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Facility leadership and general management activities.
• P&L responsibility for the Facility through budgets to meet financial goals.
• Develop processes to maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, retention and development of associates; conduct evaluations.
