Job summary

Home Chef in Maryland is seeking an Operations & Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end product movement and production within the plant. You will manage a multi-shift operation with 400+ full-time associates across Ecommerce and Ready to Heat lines, driving efficiency, quality, and safety.

You will develop operational strategies, coach supervisors, partner with CI, ensure GMPs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while embodying Home Chef values.

Qualifications

• Two-year program completed; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years of direct supervision and management experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience with sanitation and quality policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and KPIs within span of control.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and develops Superintendents, Shift Managers, Supervisors, and staff to grow in their roles.
• Sets clear performance targets and reviews progress daily.
• Implements strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
• Ensures GMPs and safety guidelines are followed and enforced.
• Owns plant SOPs and supports audits with CI team.
