Job summary

ARMORWORKS ENTERPRISES INC seeks an experienced manufacturing operations leader to oversee daily fabrication and production activities in Green Bay. You will coordinate resources, drive lean improvements and ensure on-time delivery while managing a team of supervisors and operators.

You will partner with sales, program management and leadership to prioritize workloads, implement efficient methods, and control costs. A bachelor's or equivalent experience in metal fabrication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field; or an associate degree with relevant fabrication supervision experience.
• Seven+ years managing production operations in custom sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing operations and resources to meet customer needs.
• Oversee equipment, tooling, and supplies for manufacturing/fabrication processes.
• Define methods and processes in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Coordinate with leadership, sales, and program management on shop priorities.
• Lead problem solving for methods, equipment, tooling and processes.
• Provide input on equipment needs to improve performance.
• Manage direct reports through reviews, development and objective setting.
• Ensure on-time delivery with accurate job status and completion dates.
• Control costs to meet company budget goals.
• Oversee safety policies, quality initiatives and preventive maintenance.
