Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; significant plant leadership experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, ideally across multiple plant operations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across production, maintenance, quality, shipping and receiving.
• Build, coach and develop production leads and employees.
• Establish clear expectations and foster accountability throughout the operation.
• Ensure production objectives are achieved safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Manage facility budgets, operating expenses, labor hours, overtime and manpower levels.
• Monitor and control premium freight, repair expenses and other operational costs.
• Develop and manage capital plans and capital expenditures.
• Maintain plant equipment and facilities and ensure necessary repairs, replacements and improvements are addressed.
• Champion preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, workflows and plant organization.
• Maintain high standards for shop-floor organization, cleanliness and operational discipline.
• Promote a safe, clean and healthy working environment.
• Identify opportunities, solve problems and make thoughtful decisions that strengthen the operation.
