Job summary

Legrand, a global leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures, is seeking a Plant Manager for the OCL site in St. Louis.

You will lead safety, quality, delivery, and cost, driving employee engagement and continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations. You will develop strategies, manage budgets, and guide multi-functional teams through fabrication, painting, assembly, and logistics to achieve performance targets in a high-mix environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of fabrication, paint, assembly, warehousing, ERP/MRP systems, Lean Manufacturing, budgeting, talent development, and cross-functional leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity results.
• Experience with high-mix manufacturing and multi-functional plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leadership for plant operations and strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Champion safety, regulatory compliance, and safety initiatives.
• Direct production, planning, scheduling, materials, maintenance, and plant performance.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, waste reduction, and productivity initiatives.
• Manage budgets, capital expenditures, labor productivity, inventory, and cost reduction.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing teams with inclusive leadership.
