Job summary

Ariston Group is seeking a Plant Manager in Allegan to oversee the day-to-day operations of a small manufacturing site. You will ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective plant performance aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 3–4 years in a similar manufacturing role, strong Excel and data reporting skills, and knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methods. The role emphasizes leadership of a site team and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Technical background with 3–4 years in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with production data, KPIs and reporting.
• Knowledge of Lean, TQM, Kaizen, PDCA; Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor production activities to align customer demand, manufacturing output, capacity and delivery commitments.
• Ensure orders are completed on time, within budget and to required quality standards and targets.
• Monitor production processes, productivity, labour efficiency and product standards; adjust schedules and resources as needed.
• Coordinate warehouse and material flow to ensure adequate stock levels and timely material availability for production.
• Coordinate industrialization activities and support integration of new products, prototypes and new equipment with R&D and relevant functions.
• Select and coordinate production equipment requirements; oversee preventive and corrective maintenance; organize repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements and promote a strong safety culture across the site.
• Monitor quality indicators and support corrective actions and quality control initiatives.
• Monitor operating costs; contribute to budget and ensure cost-effectiveness of plant activities.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, PDCA and TQM.
