Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks a Production/Operations Manager to direct and coordinate activities for optimum efficiency and profit in a plant setting.

You will partner with engineering, quality control, procurement, and executive management to set production priorities, improve processes, and lead a safety-focused team while aligning with EnerSys policies and the EnerSys Operating System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent; 7–10 years of related management experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, Lean skills preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities to optimize efficiency of operations and maximize profits.
• Responds to manufacturing problems and implements remedies.
• Manages production, facility engineering, quality control and administrative services.
• Establishes production priorities and cost controls aligned with company objectives.
• Champions EnerSys Operating System and maintains safety and environmental controls.
