Job summary

Terrepower seeks an Operations Manager to lead the plant’s manufacturing and warehouse teams. You will report to the Plant Manager and drive daily production planning, schedules, and kaizen activities to boost efficiency and quality.

You will guide teams to meet customer orders, champion cost controls, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment in a high-volume setting. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business; leadership of manufacturing operations is acceptable in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years in an operational leadership role in lean manufacturing preferred.
• Lean training and demonstrated results preferred.
• Proficient with standard office software packages.
• Understanding of production planning in a high volume/high mix environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant and warehouse operations to ensure reliable, consistent processes.
• Lead daily customer work orders and RTS schedule; drive production priorities.
• Direct production activities, optimize efficiency, and manage costs.
• Exercise independent judgment to solve complex production and warehouse challenges.
• Review production, quality, maintenance, and financial reports to reduce defects and waste.
• Develop and implement operating methods to improve quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance and process teams to enhance equipment and processes.
• Foster a safe work environment and a culture of safety for all staff.
• Support EHS programs and ensure adherence to standards and work instructions.
• Lead kaizen events and 6S activities to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety systems.
