Job summary

EnerSys's Precision Power Solution (PPS) is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead Maintenance, Facilities, and Process Engineering at the manufacturing site. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant processes, while driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

You will supervise cross-functional teams, implement facility layout changes, optimize production metrics, and partner with Program Management to strengthen change control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in equipment maintenance, plant operations, or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process metrics, facility layout planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance and Facilities teams to ensure efficient operation and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Direct the Process Engineering group in optimizing and improving manufacturing processes across multiple battery product lines.
• Oversee plant safety initiatives related to equipment and processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory and company standards.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and production throughput.
• Plan and execute facility layout changes to support growth, scalability, and capacity expansion.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to analyze and optimize utilization, performance, and process metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, to strengthen change control processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Support long-term strategies for equipment upgrades, automation, and capital investments.
• Provide full supervisory leadership, including hiring, training, performance management, and issue resolution.
