Job summary

iNRCORE Group is seeking a Plant Manager for its Torrington, CT facility. You will lead day-to-day production operations, optimize resources, and ensure safety and quality while driving continuous improvement.

The role demands a data-driven leader capable of balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in plant operations leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum five years of manufacturing or plant operations leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in production environments.
• Strong understanding of operations including production, maintenance, finance, and workforce management.
• Proven track record driving process improvements for efficiency and productivity.
• Ability to adapt structures, processes, and priorities to changing business demands.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards.
• Experience with SAP/ERP/CRM systems.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and time management skills.
• Results oriented with a balance of planning and hands-on execution.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.
• Experience in fast-paced or evolving environments.
• Collaborative leadership with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily plant operations for efficiency and productivity.
• Serve as the primary operational leader for the facility and escalate complex issues to leadership.
• Allocate labor, materials, and equipment to maximize output and asset utilization.
• Partner with senior leadership to implement operational strategies aligned with objectives.
• Monitor performance metrics and address safety, quality, or efficiency concerns.
• Lead, hire, coach, and develop production and maintenance teams with a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze production and labor data to identify waste and overtime and drive improvements.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory requirements are followed and promote a safety-first culture.
• Utilize manufacturing systems to track metrics and drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on staffing, performance management, and training.
• Perform other duties to support plant and business operations.
