Job summary

FuelCell Energy is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to lead our fast-paced facilities team in Torrington, CT. This role reports to the Vice President, Chief of Staff - Operations, driving daily operational readiness and continuous improvement.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years in plant/facility management, a BS in engineering, and hands-on experience with maintenance programs, CMMS, and capital projects. A strong focus on safety and ESG is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in Plant/Facility/Equipment Management in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering desired.
• Experience with automated/semi-automated equipment and a tolerance for manual processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of a multi-plant Facilities Group.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
• Improve safety, production quality, and equipment reliability through effective utilization of assets.
