Job summary

Advantage Label & Packaging, a UFPI Packaging Company, seeks a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing operations and related departments in alignment with cost, profit and productivity goals. You will develop production schedules, forecast requirements, and coordinate with other areas to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, training, safety compliance, inventory management, and continuous improvement of processes while ensuring quality standards and timely delivery to

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of flexographic pre-press, press, and finishing activities.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long- and short-range business plans and goals.
• Staffs assigned operations to meet production levels consistent with cost objectives.
• Ensures employees are properly trained.
• Lead and motivate the production team activities and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Coaches and develops subordinates and initiates corrective action as required.
• Monitors efficiency and quality standards to maximize production capacity.
• Monitors expenses and initiates corrective actions as required.
• Analyzes production operations and workflow for improvements.
• Manages inventory and participates in month-end counts.
• Ensures machinery is properly maintained and purchases are approved.
