Job summary

Advantage Label and Packaging, a UFPI Packaging Company, seeks a Plant Manager in Kentwood, MI to oversee manufacturing operations and related departments, aligning with cost, profit, and productivity goals. Develops production schedules and coordinates with other areas while forecasting company requirements.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, training, efficiency standard establishment, and ensuring OSHA-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of flexographic pre-press, press, and finishing activities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Formulates long- and short-range business plans and goals.
• Ensure plant assets are properly managed and safeguarded.
• Staffs operations to meet production levels and cost objectives.
• Lead and coach the production team to achieve cost-efficient timelines.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
