Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a Plant Manager to provide overall operational leadership for a manufacturing facility producing extruded and agglomerated foods. You will drive safety, quality, and financial performance while aligning with corporate strategy.

You will lead site leadership teams, develop strategic plans, and manage maintenance, reliability, and efficiency initiatives. Strong regulatory experience and a track record of continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 6-12+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated food environments with strong safety initiatives.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex manufacturing departments.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple business and plants, ensuring performance and customer commitments.
• Develop and execute site strategies for production, quality, cost, and service.
• Provide leadership for multiple departments to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Establish standardized operating practices, performance metrics, and governance across the facility.
• Ensure production plans meet demand while optimizing throughput and asset utilization.
• Champion a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, PSM).
• Lead audits, inspections, and corrective actions for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Lead site leadership teams and coach for succession planning and engagement.
• Oversee asset reliability and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Partner with Engineering on plant upgrades and automation projects.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvements without compromising safety/quality.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
