Job summary

Celanese Cooper River Hytrel®/Crastin® plant in the Charleston, SC area seeks a Manufacturing Manager (Daily Execution Leader) to lead the 24/7 operations team toward world‑class performance in safety, quality and reliability.

You will coach and develop approximately 10 direct reports and partner with engineers, specialists and shift supervisors to execute the plant’s 24/7 operations, while aligning with Celanese’s Move to the Core model and stewardship standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing roles; proven influential leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of excellence in stewardship, quality, reliability, engagement and productivity.
• Lead implementation of Celanese Move to the Core operating model and Operational Excellence.
• Coach and develop the team to identify and mitigate risks to performance.
• Partner with site leadership to recruit, develop and retain talent aligned to core values.
• Serve as the primary back-up to the Site Director and key member of the Site Leadership Team.
